The majority of roads in the Australian Outback are gravel,
such as this road heading north to the township of Hungerford
over the NSW and QLD border.

Kangaroos, Emus, Cattle, Pigs etc; can ruin a good motorcycle
trip. It's a good idea to keep your speeds down when travelling
on these types of roads so you can react in time for the unforeseeable.
This pig came out of nowhere from the scrub, luckily he was
only small and no damage was done (except to the pig), but if
he had been any bigger it could have been a real disaster.
