Riversleigh is a World Heritage listed area and is in a truly pristine state, this area is near Lawn Hill National Park QLD. There are a couple of small creeks and rivers that are fed by spring water. It's a great place to camp and relax. There are fresh water crocodiles and a large variety of fish species including the famous barramundi that inhabit these waters.
Many Red Claw Yabbies inhabit these waterways. And they taste good! Gallery		This part of the country is fantastic to travel through. The lack of people and the remoteness adds to it's beauty, and if you happen to be there in early spring, ask about the Morning Glory!
