The Desert & Mt Dare Station
Mt Dare is a remote cattle station and general store. Fuel prices here can be expensive due to their isolation. Mt Dare is situated on the Western side of the Simpson Desert and is South East of Alice Springs. There is a lot of old history surrounding this area. If you're in the area, Daulhouse Springs is worth checking out. The water is at a temperature of 39c in parts and also attracts a lot of native wild life. 
When you're riding out in the sand country the roads tend to wear you down after a while, so you've got to be on your guard. 
There are so many unusual sights in the Outback such as this Pussy Willow tree growing in the middle of nowhere!!
